Here are a few simple example of things that supporters of the 9/11 truth movement have done that we should look to for inspiration: -

 Activism

  • Copy and freely distribute (i.e. without charge) DVD’s such as the 9/11 film ‘Loose Change – 2nd Edition’ which are 110% legal with permission granted to do so.  Pass these around your neighbourhood, hand them out in the street, leave a stack with the local newsagents.  On the technical side, DVD’s can be copied using a capable PC, however it can often be more practical to buy a DVD copier; which is just basically a small box with two DVD drives that is custom built to copy a master DVD to a blank disk.  Go to cremationofcare.com for a guide on how to get started.
  • Print relevant info-sheets, flyers and posters for distribution.  Post these on bulletin boards.  Hand them out in the street.  (Total411.info produced some decent leaflets for handing out at the theatres showing the new Oliver Stone movie ‘World Trade Center’.)
  • Be creative.  Do your own thing and think of new inventive ways to wake people up.  No matter how minor, every seed you plant can make roots.

  • Print and distribute stickers, such as we have below.  Stick these in your window, on your personal property, attach them to envelopes whenever you send something in the mail and get your friends to do the same (wake up your postman!).  HOW TO MAKE THEM: You can buy A4 sized sheets of stickers from most good stationary shops and print 14 stickers per sheet.  A Microsoft word template is downloadable here which you can use with these.
  • Liaise with local press.  Often the smaller ‘cogs’ in the mainstream media machine will be more co-operative and willing to give fair and balanced coverage.  We have had a lot of success working with the Skipton based Craven Herald newspaper and at the time of our own film showing events we were able to get decent promotion and secure interviews on BBC Radio Leeds and Bradford Community Broadcasting (BCB Radio) which got our voices out there.   See our events section for info and examples of media coverage.
  • Organise events, lectures and meetings.  We have been very successful doing this – in and out of Skipton.  This can be on a small scale like the back room of a pub (not expensive to do) or on a larger scale you can rent a town hall.  You can allow free admission, ask for a voluntary donaton or charge an entry fee if necessary.  Go to 911truthbristol.com for more helpful info.
  • Engage in (legal) publicity stunts, the more creative the better.  The mainstream media loves to cover stories that have an edge to them – particularly local media.  Here is one recent example of an event held in the USA by the truth movement of California: San Francisco 9/11 Truth Tea Party Dumps Official Whitewash in the Bay.

  • Post topics on local websites.  This is a great way of meeting like minded people and expanding the network.  Try not to get too bogged down with the trolls who are operating out there, as this can take up much time trying to debate and argue.  Time which can be much better spent engaging in other activities which will be much more effective.  Some of our team have in the past been posting on an excellent local website skiptonweb.co.uk – Any time you post a comment about a local event, the trolls will appear and try to cause disruption and diversion by starting fights with other posters… you can shoot their arguments down to a certain depth, but you beat their tactics by it by ignoring them.
  • Wear 9/11 truth ‘gear’.  USA based websites infowars.com and loosechange911.com have some nice items such as baseball caps, hoodies and t-shirs.  You can always go one step further and make your own, as we have done (see below).  It grabs peoples eyes in the streets and gets your presence known and the message across!
